Carissa Converse

Carissa is proud to say that she is a Mariposa native. Carissa has a long family history in the Yosemite area, which was a motivating factor in planting her own family’s roots in Mariposa. After attending Mariposa County high school, Carissa continued her education at Arizona State University, obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

It was in Arizona that she met her husband, an Arizona native. After living in Arizona for eight years and teaching for four, she and her husband decided to move out of the Phoenix Valley and into the Sierra Foothills.

In the process of moving, Carissa decided to step out of teaching and apply her skills to a new career. Twiss Realty caught her attention. Twiss Realty’s values and team culture is what ultimately convinced her to leave teaching behind and to take on the role of Twiss Realty’s marketing coordinator.

Since being in Mariposa and with Twiss Realty, Carissa is excited for the growth and opportunities that come with a growing business.
